The interior of Bistro No. 12 is designed to match its culinary ambitions – inviting and deeply rooted in the surrounding landscape, with inspiration from its own garden, wild herbs from the dunes and local seasonal ingredients.
In addition to being used as a restaurant, the flexible interior design can be transformed for meetings, parties, and events.
Located at Feddet Beach Resort the restaurant offers guests an intimate dining experience regardless of whether they are there on holiday or as day visitors.
Feddet Strand resort's unique location between Præstø Fjord and the Baltic Sea has had a major influence on the interior design of Bistro No. 12. The square is located right down by the beach, and the many large trees are a distinctive part of the resort's visual expression and identity. In the restaurant, it was therefore a natural extension of the square to use a lot of wood and materials that complement this.
The materials used in the restaurant design have been carefully selected – oak, leather, soft textiles – and add depth, warmth and elegance to an environment where every detail supports a first-class experience. Large panoramic windows with natural light offer views of the forest and the stunning resort, creating a transition between indoors and outdoors. Room dividers are used for decoration and living plants bring the space to life.
Specially designed furniture, acoustic comfort and atmospheric lighting come together in a restaurant that is intimate and cosy.
The dining chairs offer guests excellent comfort, allowing them to sit comfortably for many hours. The tables have been chosen with black table tops that give a calm and intimate expression. Both the table tops and the seat cushions of the chairs have the advantage of being practical in everyday use, with surfaces that can withstand heavy use and are easy to clean. This is an important factor in hospitality design.
With this design, we have focused on both practical quality and creating a visual restaurant design that matches Feddet's exclusive guest experience at the rest of the resort.
