At Feddet Beach Resort, premium cabins and holiday apartments aren’t just places to sleep – they’re part of the experience. Together with Third.space, the resort designed and furnished 25 units using a Scandinavian design approach that combines homely comfort, subtle luxury, and smart functionality.
Voted as Denmark's best campsite 2021 by German ADAC, Feddet Beach Resort offers a five-star experience in both cabins, holiday homes, glamping tents, and of course room for caravans.
The people behind Feddet have an ambition to be the best and want to make the world’s best campsite for the sake of the guests!
The resort has everything from unique local nature, luxurious settings, and attractive activities for the whole family. A true family-friendly and cozy camping and holiday resort, close to Copenhagen and the beach.
We were asked to make an interior design and furnish Feddets 20 new Premium beach cabins, 4 holiday apartments and 1 holiday home.
The owner, Ivan Reedtz-Thott, and Co-Managing Director Kasper Kristensen wanted a Scandinavian design with muted colors and a great focus on details to get a cozy and homely feel. The design should have an edge and the products should not only be practical but also look amazing and luxurious.
The interior design solution we have created for the resort has a great connection between design, functionality, and our knowledge of how guests use a cabin.
The cabins have been given a Scandinavian look with lots of delicious wood products, neutral and relaxing colors, and everything the guests need for a relaxing holiday. We have delivered everything from design, indoor/outdoor furniture, interior and kitchen equipment.
Small details from the project include a wine cooler and cocktail jigger to make good drinks or have a good glass of wine on a hot summer evening. We have also thought of where to place hangers for the bathrobe, and bar cart to place your drink on when using the cabin’s own private spa. The small details that make a difference in the user experience.
We created a complete design with many functions in limited space, that would still feel spacious. Our interior consultant has found great products that stands out when you enter the room and chosen interior element that substantiates the homely feel. The design of the furniture supports the luxurious feel together with the beautiful wooden panels with backlight and pendant lamp.
A few products we needed to have custom-made. Such as for the outdoor shower area, which was a “must-have” for the new Premium cabins with spas on the terraces. To comply with the building permit, we had to come up with a special solution to meet the wishes for the design and functionality of the outdoor shower.
